Hypnosis
What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is an effective, very well researched, promising and medically recognized method in short-term therapy.
The term hypnosis is used here both for the state of trance and for the method of inducing the trance.
Trance is a natural state of our mind that we experience regularly in everyday life – be it while driving,
engrossed in a movie or during other routine activities.
In such moments we are so absorbed in our thoughts or an activity that we fade out our outside world for a while.
In coaching and psychotherapy, this state is used to focus on the inner experience and gain access to the subconscious.
Contrary to popular myths, you do not lose control of yourself during hypnosis.
Trance does not mean unconsciousness. Rather, you are in a state of heightened awareness and concentration on your inner self. This enables you to initiate change-processes and achieve personal goals with the help of the therapist.
How does hypnosis work?

It is assumed that our subconscious has a significant influence of 90-95% on our thoughts, actions and feelings
(see graphic "Iceberg Model" below).
It controls our everyday behaviors, routines, habits, beliefs and emotions far more than our conscious mind.
Experiences and learnings are stored in the subconscious and automate our thought and behavior patterns.
This very useful mechanism relieves our everyday consciousness so that we can carry out most activities almost effortlessly.
However, the subconscious also stores unwanted habits and outdated beliefs, which work automatically, too, even if they are no longer relevant or justified. These deeply rooted patterns are difficult to reach or change through pure rational thinking at the conscious level.
This is where hypnosis comes into play: it works directly with the subconscious, bypassing the analytical mind and offering the subconscious new ways of thinking and beliefs, as well as alternative behaviors and suggests alternative solutions.
With the approval of the subconscious, positive life changes can now occur much more easily. The client always remains in full control, is always self-aware and perceives everything.

My offer for you:
In my practice I offer both suggestive hypnosis as well as clinical hypno-analysis.
Both methods have their place in modern psychotherapy.
They differ in approach and objectives and are used depending on individual needs and therapy goals.
I am happy to advise you personally about the different methods,
and together we will find the most suitable method for your individual situation.
Suggestive hypnosis
Suggestive hypnosis, also known as traditional or direct hypnosis, works with positive suggestions and instructions directed to the subconscious mind during the hypnotic state. In this relaxed state, the mind is more open to suggestions aimed at changing behavior. This method is often used, particularly in coaching, to address specific symptoms or behaviors, such as smoking cessation, stress reduction or weight loss. Suggestive hypnosis focuses on bringing about immediate changes in thoughts and actions by directly influencing the subconscious.

Hypno-analysis
Clinical hypnoanalysis uses hypnotic trance to explore deeper psychological causes of problems. This form of hypnotherapy aims to uncover and resolve unconscious conflicts and emotional blockages. It is very effective and helpful in many areas of application, especially in the treatment of complex psychological disorders such as fears, phobias or trauma. By analyzing past experiences and the resulting beliefs, it enables a profound understanding of the roots of the current problem and supports the healing process through insight and emotional processing.
