Specific Fears & Phobias

Perhaps you know the feeling when certain situations or objects trigger a strong fear reaction in you.

Be it fear of exams, fear of flying, arachnophobia, social phobia, fear of heights, fear of needles, mice or dogs,

claustrophobia (fear of small spaces), agoraphobia (fear of wide spaces), fear of the dentist, fear of public speaking, phobia of elevators

or fear of the dark - almost everyone has experienced how paralyzing such fears can be.

These fears limit everyday life and significantly reduce the quality of life.

Empathetic support for fears

Fear is a normal reaction of the body to danger and an important signal for us to avoid danger.

In such situations, our body activates the "fight or flight" principle,

where we have to react immediately without thinking for long. These reactions are automated and controlled by the subconscious.

Sometimes, however, we react with fear, even though it seems rationally unfounded to us

and we don't understand why this "program" still runs.

This is where I come in:

Using various methods, I help you to overcome your fears and free yourself from the

restrictions and external control that they bring with them.

Suggestive Hypnosis

Suggestive hypnosis is a classic in the treatment of fears and phobias.

It treats both the symptoms and the causes of the respective anxiety disorder.

During the hypnotic trance, you receive suggestions that help you to view the object of your fear neutrally.

Your thoughts are restructured and reconfigured so that your subconscious learns to react differently to the fear stimulus in the future.

Analytical Hypnosis

Analytical hypnosis can be particularly helpful for specific phobias. By immersing you in a state of deep relaxation, it allows you to

uncover hidden memories or experiences that may have contributed to the development of your phobia.

By identifying and processing these roots, you can learn to change your reactions to anxiety-provoking stimuli.

Self-Hypnosis

During hypnotherapy, you can also learn the technique of self-hypnosis.

This gives you a tool to help you control your fear in everyday life.

EMDR

EMDR is particularly suitable for specific object- or situation-related fears and phobias.

It enables intensive processing of unprocessed traumatic experiences or ideas.

Talk Therapy

In talk therapy, I offer you a safe environment to explore your fears through empathy and unconditional acceptance.

This method promotes your self-confidence and personal growth.

Together we explore your thoughts and feelings in a protected space full of trust.

Here you have the opportunity to speak openly about your worries and develop new perspectives.

Talk therapy helps you discover inner resources and strengthens your confidence

in your ability to cope with challenges.

Autogenic Training

Autogenic training is a tried and tested means of self-regulation and stress reduction.

You learn to relax yourself. An important skill for counteracting anxiety.

My methods are designed as short-term therapies,

so that noticeable changes are often possible after just a few sessions.

Each of these methods can be used individually or in combination.

During the preliminary consultation, we will find out together which form of therapy is best for you

and estimate the duration of the treatment.
